What? Me Slim?
No.1 and I visited a playgroup mummy over the last weekend. We met her through another playgroup mummy. Since then, we managed to keep in touch a lot, even though I moved a fair distance from her. Anyway, she also has 2 cutie-pies. Amidst the chaos, our children were causing, we managed to squeeze in a fair amount of adult conversation… although we were moving in between rooms, cleaning up poop, cooking and feeding them (NOT THE POOP!!!! FOOD!
).
One of it was, the talked-to-death about, weight issues. She is by profession, a dance teacher, more precisely a latin/salsa/classical ballet teacher. She also dances in competition and shows. Anyway, she commented that I looked like I lost a lot of weight. To which, I replied, "HELL YA! I better have lost some by now…No.2 is already almost 15 months and I still haven’t completely lost it all!!!"
She then agreed and said, it’s so much harder to lose all that weight, after the 2nd child. I was mentally choking myself and thought…emmm..what are you talking about? You don’t have a tummy!!! Look at mine, my mount. tumms is still there..in fact, i think the permanent feature of a snowy top would be great!. She then said, it has taken her almost 2 years to get back her weight. As I nodded my head, but again I thought..she must be seriously delusional..she’s so damn skinny! I saw you dance the flamenco..you have no body fat!! I was screaming to everyone that you were a mummy of two…TWO!!!! I saw you in a two piece bikini..you have no FAT!!!!!!! I can’t even make myself wear a swimsuit, let alone a bikini!!!!!!!!
So, there you go. Even if you think you’re fat..someone out there thinks you’re not and wishes that they have your body!

I FEEL fat, now go on, wish you had my body so that I’ll feel better
be careful for what you wish for!!!!

I lost all my pregnancy weight within 2 months after I’d Zara.. But then, to mee, the body is never the same again. The places that you don’t want to see fat is that, the waist, the tummy, stubborn fat which is hard to get rid even when you’d lost the fat.
Oh well, with no. 2, I think it’s going to be even more difficult to loose weight. Where will I have time to go to the gym or work out?
:(
