How now? *Updated*
I really don’t know what to say.
I am kinda stumped.
I know early 20 something year old women are in a search mode. They are in the search for themselves..who are they, what they want to do, etc etc.. Been there, done that.
But then, when I stumbled on a 20 something yr old’s blog and saw some stuff. I didn’t bother reading much of it, coz it all seemed too angsty, angry and familiar. She posted up a pix of herself. She also posted up a pix of her mom. To be honest, after seeing this… I don’t know what to say, if I ever saw her mother in a shop/street/market somewhere.
I mean, blogs are public. REALLY PUBLIC. You really can’t control who and what reads it.
Because I once was her age..I kinda understand her state of mind. But now that I’m a mother..my state of mind is much more different. As a mother, I think my child’s body is sacred and should only be completely respected. If they’re all grown up (i.e. 18 yrs and above)..then it’s really up to them what they want to do with it. But, please..still continue to respect your body.
Updated : I think those are her’s. Not Mommy’s. If I were her mommy, I’d be proud to have such perky mountains.
I don’t know what to say anymore. I don’t want to sound like aunty judging judging, wagging finger and all that..After all, she is 22! But…maybe I am, inside, deep down…still that aunty. So…I’ll do the judging in my mind…and y’all do yours in my comment box.
