The curse of the family
Because Vien started talking about the gender of her lil bub…. and started all the mums on a major guessing game, I decided to share with y’all what gender this baby will be.
No surprises, but it will be a boy.
Yeupppp! No doubt about it. No, the Ob-Gyn did not confirm this. During the scan, she couldn’t even make out the organs..ahem! Not that she can, the lil one was only 12 weeks old!
But, I think I’m quite expert enough when it comes to seeing ultrasound images. See ah, I saw a bulge. A bulge which no girl should have. Despite the fact that, the Ob-Gyn said she really has no clue. Despite the fact that, she’s probably seen more scans that I will ever have. Despite her being the specialist.
Hah.. intuition? Nahhhhh…I call it the curse of the family. When it comes to threes…my family has a string of one-gender siblings. It’s either boy or girl. If you already have 2 girls, your next one will be a girl…and so forth.
So…while my hub dreams of a lil girl…I know in my heart, there’s a lil hotdoggie inside of me.
What do you guys think? Btw, my tums is shaped like a torpedo….see what I mean?

LOL! Hey all those old wives tales might not be true leh.
I used to think like that…but I don’t know la…… I’m more inclined to believe now..esp shape of belly.. that somehow is always freakingly true!!!!!!

What is your intuition? I think mommy’s intuition is quite accurate one. When I conceived both boys, I KNEW that they were boys leh.
Maybe old wives tale about shape of belly, but I really believe… I can tengok for people, and tell the sex quite well lor. And err…with torpedo shaped belly, looks like got kkc. Girls one are normally quite round. Boys, it tapered at the side.
And somehow, these days…I see ppl mostly have all girls or all boys. Mix gender, got lah..but few leh. Besides, also depends when you DO IT…
Yes yes…..*consults chinese baby-making calender*!
Yea..I know a couple desperate for a child, did EVERYTHING…and got a dual-gender child. What you call those ah…i forgot!

hmmm i too believed that the shape of the tum tum sharp sharp will be a boy but when I had Kylie, my tum tum oso sharp sharp wor…eh..hmmm..no wonder she behaves like a boy la!!!!!!!!!!
Really ah?? Wah..u the first then. Most round shape bellies turn out to be girls!!!

Ha ha…i also come from a family with one gender siblings. Like nomadic mom, I think the mum can feel it leh. When I was expecting mine, I somehow could sense that it will be boys. Also now quite pro in seeing shape of tummies.
Anyway, whether it is girl or boy, it really does not matter. Most importantly is that they are healthy.
So true!! That’s what I pray for most!
