My son's a bit like that too. Previously when he ate, he would eat so carefully so that not a crumb would drop on the table. If it did, he would get so upset. And he would wake me up in the middle of the night to ask me to rearrange his blanket for him because it is so "messy". Anyway, I think he has outgrown most of this now, especially the no mess eating part tho he still wakes me up at night to tell me that his blanket is "messy". Hopefully your boy grows out of his need to be neat too. Though its hard for you to pay attention to him now because of No3 who needs the most attention at this point, maybe its just his way of dealing with so many changes ,moving, new baby, etc all at one time.

I agree with your reply to kok...I too close my eyes to lots of things coz I cannot handle so many things. I have even been hoping that my no.2's cough/flu will get better on its own...baaad mommy. Housework is just what I can do during baby's nap times. I am also worried abt my no.1 as she rarely talks in kindy class until teacher had to spank her bottom o_O. I am lost as to what to do as she talks really well at home and at the babysitter's. And she just overcame her nailbiting after one year(which I think was due to 1st time going to kindy). Kids are very sensitive to changes I suppose...

he may be insecure with the big moves and also sharing his parents with two other brothers, like what you said. he may need more reassurance and TLC but that means you definitely have to spend one on one time with him, even if it's just reading a book, just with him, for 10 minutes a day, or something he enjoys.

check with his class teacher, see if she has spotted anything in him. hope all goes well...

Hugss Happy Mother's Day to you.

Could the moving be one of the causes to #1's problem? or his way of trying to find an order in his life since he is trying to adjust to being a big brother and the moving?? Just my random guess. Nevertheless, sure hope you will solutions and answers.
