How does your garden grow?
I’m so grateful that my in-laws are here. I must admit, initially I thought I’d get really stressed at their presence and whatever bla bla bla that came out of their mouths. I thought I would have "hokkein mee" face the entire time, but no….. so far, no such thing as happened.
I think mostly it’s because I already mentally prepared myself and found ways in dealing with it (*winks* to WMD), so thus far, it’s been quite good. My MIL loves to cook…well, I think she finds validation when she cooks a good meal for the family..it makes her feel real happy. She hates to eat out, because that would mean, she doesn’t get to cook. To me, I’m happy coz, someone is takin care of meals..that means, I don’t have to rush in preparing meals. Although her cuisine is different from my usual take…but, hey! I ain’t complaining..got hot food in front of me…I am damn happy.
My FIL….he’s a darling! Y’see what his FWB* brought me? I remember Yenjai asking the question abt how organic is organic. Now, to answer him…… my one is really organic! Yes…if I can collect pee from No.2….EVEN MORE ORGANIC! WAKAKAKAAKAKAKAKAKAKAAKAKAKAKAKAKAAKAKAKAK!!
His friend brought me HOT CHILLI PADI, LEMON GRASS, MINT, KUCHAI, and Chives .. He even brought seeds to plant green vege…there’s Pak Choy, Korean Pak Choy (got such thing arrr?), lettuce, chinese lettuce, coriander, etc etc etc…
See how lucky I am? I get to relax whilst someone is cooking…I get to watch my garden grow…I get to shower in peace…I get to blog… I am very very grateful for their help…… I wonder, how I can thank them. They won’t accept money… They don’t eat chocolates… Their grandchildren already shower them with kisses n hugs….

How? Everytime MIL cooks the meal, you eat heartily and say, “Waaaah! Best-nya!” LOL! As for FIL, I think he will be happy whenever his wife is happy.

Before you know it, they will be going home.So, Enjoy it while you can. They are probably grateful to you for producing 3 heirs to the throne!! Want them there more often?? Have more kids. Muahahaha!
