mott’s mutterings

July 6, 2008

Achievements of a slackr mama..

It’s July, the 7th month of the year.

Which means, half the year has passed us by and what have I got to show?

Let’s see……

1) No.2 is finally toilet trained. But wait! Only just this month! He now can poo and pee in the toilet. So, he’s about 20+days to turning 3 years old…and he’s finally done it on his own.

2) I have been cycling. It’s been hard work ..becoz most of the time, I’m huffin’ n puffin’ - walking the bike. Ahhhhhh……

3) My elder two have been going to playgrounds. YES! I’ve been able to take them to playgrounds! Which means, I also run out of breath chasing them….and getting vessels poppin’ when they do their most daring stunts.

4) I have been practising writing with my No.1 I have to confess first, that I am the one practising. It’s a ‘Victorian Cursive’… which is dang hard to write for a cakar-ayam* like me.

5) I have been gardening - well, more like weeding and chopping plants up. Good therapy for PND! Heh!

Right..that’s about all the ’so-called’ achievements in my life, this year.

Oh! And I gave birth to a beautiful healthy lil boy!

*Cakar-ayam - one who writes badly. Literally.
