Honestly, I was at my tether’s end, trying to get my kids to finish their food fast. And appreciating it. Then ATP sent me this YouTube video.

Great eye-opener for them. My kids sat in front of the PC, as I read out the words. When the pictures came out, I explained to them how much suffering there is around the world. I told them, these kids are so hungry, they’d eat ANYTHING, even rocks..just to keep their stomach full. I also told them about toys and how these children had no toys to share or play with.

I could see they were really sad after seeing the hungry babies and children. My No.2 even told me he would share his toys with the boy with bones. I hope this message stays with them….for a long long time!

I tend to follow people’s accents when I speak to them.

Now..before you go "tsk tsk tsk"…and wag your finger at me, I gotta say, being Aussie here (nowadays) doesn’t mean that they are Caucasians!

When I speak to people originally from India, I will speak with that ‘rrrrrrrrrrrr’-ness. Complete with the head-rolling around as well. Even on the phone, I’ll be rolling my head!!!!!!!!!!

When I speak to people originally from Greece, I will somehow speak like them! That includes Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese..and of course, the actual Caucasians!

How ah? 

It’s quite funny, because I cannot stop myself and talk normally! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Then the heater shut down by itself..and I sat there, for 1 hour, wondering why I was shivering.

And..that was the night before.

Last night..wasn’t any better…my lil guy, just was really restless. My fault, I had changed him into bigger growsuits…becoz he outgrew his 3month old ones. But, it was too big, and his hands slid into his suit..and he couldn’t find his hands..and he was getting all grumpy and sleepy.

I’m sure when you’re grumpy and sleepy..that ain’t the best combo meal ever.

I had thought that since he woke up so early, he’d have a short snooze around 7am..but no, Mr. Perky decides to have a squealing game with me. Now, the lucky guy is having his snooze, while I’m trying to finish up my work.

I think I’ll be konking off real soon. If only I drunk coffee..but I can’t. It makes me too hyper, which is the complete opposite of now. Hmmmm.. 

More often than not, when I do a google on stuff I like, I really hate to go beyond the first/second page. I mean, I am quite lazy, but there are other people out there who would go on to the next page and the next. But, let’s assume in this world, everyone is as lazy as me. Not nice. Not VERY nice! I had to remove the scripts so that people could access my blog. But, I’m wondering am I the only one affected? Other ppl don’t seem to have this problem!

Yesterday I found out that, she is happily waiting to die.

Happily.

She has been suffering for a while already….and she can’t take the pain anymore. She is quite happy to die. Very happy to go home. She can’t wait to meet her maker.

She’s a devout Christian..and I guess that makes sense. Instead of suffering, she’ll be in complete peace.  

Her family, husband and son, are in the same position. They can’t wait for her to leave her physical body. They can’t bear to see her suffer anymore.

My uncle, who told me this, specially made her some "Bak-Kua" (dried pork meat) and flew from Melbourne to Perth. She ate it with much gusto, not caring what it would do to her body anymore.  

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..when I heard she was literally days from dying..I got really really  upset and sad. Guess, it was a shock to me.

But..you know..that’s how I’d like to die. Happy. With other ppl around me, happy as well.  

This normally means work. I can’t believe it. When I first started working, I had the pleasure of doing sales. While I did very well at it (Read : very clever in conning people), I didn’t particularly enjoy it. What did I end up doing? I requested for a transfer into a product development section. I became the head of that section within a year. I guess it really shows when you love your work.

Unfortunately, I was so deep engrossed at it, I missed one of the most important events in my life. Sigh..won’t get into that.

Anyway, I met my three deadlines..one of which was this..Heh! Mr. T did the overall design, but I did the CSS/HTML modifications. I can’t believe how pumped up in adrenalin I felt. I can’t believe I also managed the hosting part of it all by myself. In short, I can’t believe what a geek I am.  

Ok ok..granted..it’s a really simple site. But, trust me, Mr. T had many annoying requests like reducing the margins at the header and cleaning up the lines..bla bla bla. I have no formal training in coding or programming…I just do by trial and MANY errors. I am so relieved that it is up. It’s a genuine site..for a genuine client.

Now, my eyes all bengkak from staring at the computer screen too much. But..so happy!! I finished all my deadlines ahead of time! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 

- helping Mr.T out with some technical workstuff.

- getting my boys to read. I’m trying my best to be patient. Kids aren’t the most sit-down people in the world.

- trying to sort out stuff in my head.

- getting orgasmic on a new application. *shivers* 

- and finally trying to sort the boys toys out. This house is like a bermuda triangle for toys. Gets sucked in….gets lost…and these boys would be screaming because of missing parts. 

Will get back to bloggin real soon.  

Whenever one mentions New York, ultimately, that’s what I’ll keep remembering! Especially those uniquely New York-y brownstones! The other thing is the shopping! Oh! How a girl would love to go shopping there! You can actually hunt for samples and find great bargains! My husband loves to hunt for samples and odd sizes when it comes to shoes. We’re both lucky as we have fairly odd sizes when it comes to shoes. Most of the time, we would find a gem or two!

We would also love to go to the Metropolitan museum of art if we had the time. Mr.T would definitely find alot of inspiring ideas from there!
